My Beloved Sisters in Christ,

May you feel the love of God this day, my fellow warriors of light. In this letter, I want to share stories that reflect the power of unwavering faith and the strength that lies within our hearts, much like the stories of hope and resilience found in the Holy Scriptures.

In our walk as Christian Women Warriors of Light, we encounter moments when life's challenges seem insurmountable. These are the times when our focus must be powerful enough to pull us through, to keep us going. As we delve into today's message, I'll draw upon the Word of God to guide us.

  1. Family & Friends: The bonds of loved ones can be a source of immeasurable strength. In the book of Proverbs 17:17 (KJV), we read, "A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity." When Caroline Rose faced her third bout with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, there came a day when she couldn't find the strength to carry on. In her darkest hour, Nurse Jan reminded her to focus on the photos of her children, igniting a spark of hope that fueled her fight. Caroline's story, which mirrors the love and support we find in our families, serves as a testament to the enduring strength that these bonds can provide. Enjoy her episode here: Caroline Rose: Why I Chose Hope and Kept Fighting.

  2. Jesus Christ: In our moments of overwhelming despair, our Savior is our unwavering source of strength and comfort. In Isaiah 41:10 (KJV), we are reminded, "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee." Sarah, a busy mother juggling the demands of motherhood, work, and household responsibilities, hit rock bottom one fateful night. It was in this darkness that she turned to her Savior, and He, in His boundless love, provided her with the strength she needed to carry on. Her story reminds us that when life's burdens seem too heavy, we can always turn to our Lord for solace and strength. Enjoy this story here: The Mother’s Mite. You can listen to it here.

  3. Prayer: The power of prayer is a divine gift that we must never underestimate. In Philippians 4:6-7 (KJV), we are encouraged, "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Caroline Rose shares a profound insight in her blog regarding prayer during her uncle's dying moments. Her experience highlights how turning to prayer can bring hope even in the most challenging times. It reminds us that in prayer, we find a lifeline to the Divine, a channel through which His peace flows into our hearts. Discover how turning to prayer helped her in this blog post: Hope Up, Joy Down.

Sisters, wherever you may find yourself on your journey, remember these three powerful resources: family, Jesus Christ, and the gift of prayer. They are the anchors that keep us steady in the storms of life, the beacons of hope that guide us through the darkest nights.

May the light of Christ continue to shine brightly within you, dear sisters. Keep your focus on God, your loved ones, and the power of prayer. With these by your side, you can overcome any desperate situation that comes your way.

In His love and grace,

Tamara
