In Loving Memory of Christine

death hope in christ love true faith Jan 27, 2015

Dear Sisters in Christ,

I hope this letter finds you well, although I must admit it carries a heavy heart. Yesterday, I received a phone call that shattered the peace of my day. My dear cousin Christine, just 45 years old, passed away suddenly. She collapsed while sharing her testimony of Jesus Christ with the women in her church, a place where she had served faithfully for years.

It has been a challenging time for our family as we prayed for her recovery, but God had different plans. It's never easy to say, "Thy will be done" when faced with such a deeply personal loss. It's difficult to understand why, especially when someone as healthy and vibrant as Christine is taken from us.

Christine was a woman of unwavering faith, an inspiration to all who knew her. As the eldest female cousin on my dad's side of the family, she exemplified positivity, outgoingness, and unceasing joy. Her life was a testament to service and love, and she raised four beautiful children with her husband. Just last year, she celebrated the birth of her first grandchild, a moment of pure joy. Her youngest son is scheduled to embark on a two-year mission to Brazil for our church next month.

In times like these, we are reminded to reflect on what truly matters: faith and family. I firmly believe that the love and relationships we build with our family transcend this earthly life. Our bonds are eternal, and the impact we have on one another extends beyond the boundaries of time.

Until we meet again, dear Christine, you will be missed, but your legacy of love and faith will continue to inspire us. Let us cherish each moment with our loved ones, knowing that our relationships are gifts from God that endure beyond this life.

Yours in faith and love,

Tamara K. Anderson
