Morning Walks: My Sanctuary

Dear Warriors of Light,

I want to share a moment of vulnerability. The daily chaos with kids often feels like it adds to my increasingly gray hairs. But my morning walk brings peace, clarity, and sanity. It reminds me of Psalm 23:2, "He maketh me to lie down in green pastures." The simple act of walking, breathing, and praying makes me a better mom, calms the storms, and keeps me from feeling overwhelmed.

Today, as I hurried my kids off to school, I felt like I had earned at least 10 more gray hairs. My stress level was higher than normal. The morning rush can be overwhelming. So, off I went for my walk, and today, I even had to jog a bit. But as I journeyed through the serene streets, I could feel God's presence, reminding me that, just like Psalm 46:10 says, "Be still and know that I am God."

Just remember, those daily walks can be a peaceful and prayerful journey, like Psalms 143:8, "Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee."

Blessings,
